CLYDE FIRE DEPARTMENT

Rental Room Regulations 

Reservations: 

  • Reservations may only be made through the Clyde  Fire Department Calendar Coordinator by calling (828) 627-8842 Option 3 or filling out the small form at the bottom of this page.
  • The person responsible for the rental must be at least 18 years of age or older and must be present at all times during the rental.
  • Maximum capacity is 60 people in the rental room.       
  • The hours of rental must fall between 8 am - 10 pm. This means the room must be cleaned & vacated by 10pm unless otherwise discussed with management prior to rental.

Restrictions:

  1. No alcohol on premises.
  2. No illegal drugs.
  3. Rental of the building cannot be used for profit
  4. No smoking in building. (Smoking outside is permitted. Properly dispose of cigarette/cigar butts.)
  5. Do not put nails, glue or permanent adhesive into or on walls.
  6. Do not sit on counter tops or tables.
  7. Apparatus vists are permissible only if an on duty personnel is available..
  8. Do not park or play in front of apparatus bays.  Parking is only allowed in designated marked parking spaces or behind the building.
  9. Guest Wi-Fi access is available.

 

Clean-up:

  1. The facility must be left clean and free of all trash and decorations.
  2. It must be swept and mopped if needed.
  3. Tables used must be wiped clean and placed back in there original place. (Do not drop tables on the floor nor slide the tables across the floor.)
  4. Chairs must be placed back on the table during cleaning.
  5. Take the trash to the dumpster out back of the building. Re-line the trash cans with new bags. Please see on duty personnel for replacement bags.
  6. If using the kitchen, clean counter tops, stove, oven, microwave, sinks, coffee pots, utensils used, and floor.

 Rental Fees and Agreement Information:

The center rental fee is $25.00 non-refundable. Fees must be paid at least two (2) weeks prior to date of reservation .

Checks for fees/deposit are to be made payable to “Clyde Fire Department” and mailed/delivered to:

The reservation will be confirmed by phone or email after receipt of checks & signed form.

Cancellations must be made by one (1) week prior to date reserved in order for a refund.
